As the festive season approaches, it’s time to highlight the Arthur Rank Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme, a wonderful initiative that raises essential funds for this wonderful hospice charity. These funds help support services like the Living Well program, which provides patients with life-limiting conditions access to therapeutic activities, group sessions, and one-to-one consultations with the specialist care team. This year, the scheme is expanding to cover even more postcodes, aiming to surpass last year’s incredible achievement of recycling 3,623 Christmas trees, and raising £65,000 (after costs) for this fantastic cause. In early January, we’ll once again join the dedicated team of volunteers collecting trees across the region. The postcodes covered this year are: CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4, CB5, CB21, CB22, CB23, CB24, CB25, SG8, and SG19.
