When we opened Cooke Curtis & Co in 2015 we didn’t set out to reinvent the wheel, we just wanted to do things as well as we could, work hard and be nice to people (thanks Anthony Burrell). We felt with this approach the results would come. We had no expectations of being one of Cambridge’s leading agents or being multi-award winning. We focused on our core ideology and hoped we'd be around in two, three, four years, to tell the tale. 

Before the first year was out we won our first award. This was very definitely about our team's hard work and success but as it was the 'Innovation Award' so the emphasis was put on our brand and stand out identity. Something we put a great deal of our early energy into. Interestingly our brand was the thing that created most conversations, it was very much a marmite thing, some people loved it and some, er, didn’t. We have Hate Mail to prove it! I suppose that mirrors our broad ideology. We'd rather engage and excite a small cross section of the house buying and selling market, than do not a lot, to everyone.

Since then both our sales and lettings team have been recognised time and time again for customer care and the quality of our marketing. For us it's nice to be recognised by peers for doing a good job, and for our clients this means they get the best level of service and marketing which ultimately leads tomthe best possible result for them.

Our most recent accolade is one which we still pinch ourselves about. Not only did Cooke Curtis & Co win The Property Awards Best Estate Agent Guide for a single office we are the overall winners of The Best Estate Agent in England, Scotland and Wales in all categories.
