If you are planning to sell or let a property, how do you choose an agent? Is it the agent who sold your neighbour's house or the one you dealt with 12 years ago, or the one with the cool branding (sorry I couldn’t help myself). Or would it be better to choose the agent who you have a greater chance of selling with? Over the last six months we have agreed sales on 89% of the properties we placed on the market. Interestingly the average for our patch according to Rightmove is 58% and our nearest competitor has a dramatically lower success rate at 71%. In fact the nearest four agents to us have a much lower success rate at between 70% and 73%. So why are we outperforming other agents and helping more clients who want to sell, sell? We could just say it is because we are great at what we do but this is a bit glib. And frankly it helps us grow as a team for us to understand what determines success. Ongoing analysis has shown our success starts with honest opinions when it comes to valuing a property. Equally our tenacity in creating opportunities clearly plays a role, and finally our sophisticated mailing list which enables us to be proactive and find potential buyers rather than simply sitting back and relying on the property portals to do our job is incredibly important. If you would like a greater proven chance of selling, please get in touch or start your journey by completing an instant valuation.
